Hand-rolled Ceylon cinnamon quills in an everyday size, about ten days of supply for a daily tea drinker, or a long while for a casual cook.
Sweet, fragrant, and soft enough to crumble in your hand. It is the pack most people start with.
This is true cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, not the cassia that fills most supermarket jars. It is naturally low in coumarin.
We cover what that means, with the sources, in The coumarin question.
Ways to use it
- A two-stick pot of cinnamon tea
- Whole in curries, rice, and mulled drinks
- A lovely gift for the cook who appreciates true Ceylon cinnamon
Questions, answered.
Is this true Ceylon cinnamon?
Yes. Everything we sell is true Ceylon cinnamon, Cinnamomum verum, grown and hand-rolled on our family estate in Sri Lanka.
What is the difference between Ceylon cinnamon and cassia?
Ceylon cinnamon is the true cinnamon. It is sweeter and more delicate, and naturally lower in coumarin than the cassia sold as cinnamon in most supermarkets.
We set that out, with the sources, in The coumarin question.
Do you ship worldwide?
Our cinnamon sticks, powder and cinnamon sugar ship worldwide, from our estate in Sri Lanka or our base in Australia depending on stock and delivery speed. Our essential oils are the exception: we post those within Australia only and do not send them overseas. You can order on our site or on Etsy.

Went above and beyond
I required cinnamon quills of a certain length and thickness, and The Cinnamon Estate went over and beyond to help me out, sending pictures and making sure the quills were just right. They arrived quickly, and are absolutely perfect for what I require them for. Beautiful product, fabulous, friendly customer service and the smell of the cinnamon is divine! Better flavours exist
Arrived on time and in perfect packaging. Being a tea drinker, I usually buy cinnamon from supermarkets. I decided to try this based on a friend referral and am glad I did. My cinnamon tea tastes so much better. I used to think all cinnamon taste the same, guess I was wrong! Loved it and will surely be coming back. Totally recommend, just give it a try!

Exceptional and naturally sweet
My order was delivered on time, and the package includes a generous portion of cinnamon sticks. I like using them for preparing cinnamon tea. The flavour is exceptional and considerably sweet without the need to add any sugar. Great for a cold day or just to unwind after a long day.
